El Primo Lawn Care & Sprinkler Repair

Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Weekly Mowing

Crisp Bermuda or St. Augustine cut on your schedule — front, back, side yards, edged borders, walks blown clean every visit.

Weekly or bi-weekly mowing tuned to North-Texas grass. Sharp blades, mulch-cut by default, height adjusted by season so the lawn keeps moisture through a Texas July and never gets scalped down to the soil. Edged at every visit; walks, drives, and pool decks blown clean before we leave the gate latched.

  • Sprinkler Evaluation

Zone-by-zone walk-through, broken-head check, controller review, and a clear written diagnosis — no guesswork.

We turn on every zone, watch the heads, listen for leaks, and check the controller program against your yard. You leave with a one-page sheet: what is broken, what is wasting water, what to fix first. If the fix is small (a head, a nozzle, a wire), we usually do it on the same visit.

  • Sprinkler Repair

Broken heads, busted lines, dead zones, stuck valves, soaked spots in the yard — diagnosed and fixed on site.

Pop-up replacement, rotor swaps, lateral-line repair, valve rebuilds, solenoid replacement, controller programming, and that one zone that has not worked in three years. We carry the common-failure parts on the truck, so most repairs are one-visit fixes — not three trips with quotes in between.

  • Overgrown Yard Cleanup

Knee-high grass, neglected beds, fence-line jungle — reset to a maintainable lawn in one visit.

For yards that got away from you (rental turnover, after a hospital stay, an estate). We bring the right deck height for tall grass, do the multi-pass cut, edge what has not been edged in months, haul off the bags, and hand it back to you ready for a normal weekly schedule.

  • Landscape Restoration

Bring tired beds, dead patches, and bare-soil spots back to something the street notices.

Pull dead material, refresh mulch, hand-pull weeds, plug bare spots in the lawn, prune what wants pruning, and rebuild the bed line so it reads as deliberate again. Often paired with a sprinkler tune-up — the bed is dying because the zone has not worked, not because the plants gave up.

  • Edging & Trimming

Power-edged borders along beds, walks, and drives, plus careful trim around fences, AC pads, and pool equipment.

Edges that stay sharp the full week. Trim work around obstacles a mower cannot reach (fences, posts, pool equipment, the AC pad), and a final blow-down so nothing carries over to the patio or the street.

  • Mulch Refresh

Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — installed at the right depth so beds look fresh and the weeds give up.

Bulk-delivered or bagged mulch, hand-spread to a consistent 2-to-3-inch layer with a clean edge against the lawn. We pull last year’s clumped mulch first when it needs it; otherwise we top-dress and tuck it under.

  • Sod Installation

Bermuda or St. Augustine — graded, laid tight, rolled, with a watering schedule your sprinklers can actually follow.

Soil prep, light grading, fresh sod laid in a brick-pattern with tight seams, rolled in. We program your controller for the establishment schedule before we leave and come back at week two to check root contact.

Starts at $750 · per visit

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
